Hi,
Today I am Going to show , how you can install clockmod recovery and you can increase internal memory of Samsung Galaxy Mini to 1GB.
Here is a video , Must Watch!
ClockMod Recovery Has Many functions, Partition SD-Card , Wipe Data etc....
Things Required :-
-Please makeyour battery has at least 70% of charge
-Your Phone Must Be Android 2.3.6-Odin Multi Downloader 4.38 Click to download
-Clock Mod Recovery ( Click To Download )
Method:-
1. Download Odin Multi Downloader and Tass_ops
2. Now Run Odin Multi downloader v4.38 and select the Tass_v1.ops by clicking OPS button ( In Odin )
3. Select One Package Option and Click One Package button and select the tass-recovery-cwm.tar file you downloaded from Above Link.
Do not Change Other Settings!
4. When you are done reboot your phone in download mode (Press Volume Down + Home + Power button to go to download mode)
5. Connect your phone in download mode to your computer via USB Cable.
6. When Odin detects your phone . click Start button. If Not so please Install Samsung Kies First for Drivers.
7. Now wait for Odin and when it reports ‘PASS’, you can disconnect your phone and its done!
Go to the recovery mode (Press Home + Power button) and see your new recovery with tons of useful options. Now that you have CWM recovery you will be able to do just more than nandroid backups. You can also partition your Sd Card get upto 4GB memory as well as flash a Custom Rom on your galaxy MINI. Go and try various options. But, be careful.
Now, Memory To 1GB Method:-

-Turn Off Your Phone Wait for vibration. Add Sd-card of 2GB In Mobile.
- Warning It Will Remove all data in Sd-Card-Go to Recovery (Press Home + Power button)-Use Vol + , Vol - for up and down and Home Button To Select.-Go to Advance Options.-Partition Sd-Card-Choose Size , I recommend use 1GB e.g 1024Mb. It does not makes your phone slow and works fine.-Select Swap Memory to Zero.-Now Wait Until Its Done! It takes severel Minutes To Complete.-After That Rebot Your Phone and its Done!
IF ERRORS ! Like Your Memory Card Memory is decreased and still internal memory is not increased.
So here is the FIX!1) Download Tass.ops file for Odin!
2) Type this number on your phone keyboard:
*#1234#
and keep note of the PDA code of the Firmware installed.
3) Download boot image ready for Odin and suitable for your firmware:
All modded images are inside my Google Drive.
4) Flash the downloaded archive with Odin
PDA FILE! Get From Google drive !
WE MAKE It EASY For YOU ^_^

ReplyDeleteI solved my problem, i downloaded update suitable with my firmware(PDA code)from BOOT IMAGES>OC folder, copyed to sdcard and installed thru ClockworkMod, and it works now:)

I had the same problem,but when i type *#1234# to my phone to know my firmware it says "Cannot Connect or Invalid MMI code" is there anything you can do to help me?

Deleteafter i done increasing internal memory to my galaxy mini.. i used to flash 4.2.1 jelly bean rom but the internal memory has change to normal.. can i get this back to 1gb on this custom rom? what should i do? partition my sd card again?
ReplyDeleteFirst of all check your build number PDA , all the custom roms are based on original ones, after you got your PDA number open Google Drive Link and Flash the Boot Image :)
